Chapter 19 and 20

Pg. 363-404
Harry wakes up at the middle of a night, of something that he thinks is someone walking outside. He sees a silver doe, which is like a patronous. He follows it to a frozen pond, where it suddently goes under the ice. There, the sword of gryffindor lies. At the bottom of the ice cold pond. Harry breaks the ice and jumps to get it. The locket feels danger and tightens around his neck and strangles him. All of the sudden, Ron shows up, and helps him out of the water with the sword.

Later, they walked to Xenophilius Lovegood's house. They talk about the reason events, and when Harry ask about the sign that he had seen earlier, Xenophilius asks if it is the sign of the Deathly Hallows.

Chapter 17 and 18

Pg. 330-362
Harry and Hermione follows a woman, called Batilda, that they know knew Dumbledore. She leads them to a house. She asks if Harry wants to come upstairs to assure that is is Harry Potter that has come to this house. After he says yes, a giant snake just pops out of her neck and ambushes Harry. Realizing that this obviously was a trap, he tries to escape, and with Hermione's help they managed to do it. However, Harry's wand breaks, which means he lost one of the rarest wands there is.

Chapter 15 and 16

Pg.284-329

Harry feels weeker as he is carrying the horcrux, and Hermione suggests that they don't carry it, but just keep it in the tent. They eventually decide to share the burden and switch carrying the locket. The three of them constantly looks for new places to sleep, as they are in the woods in a tent. Later in the chapter, we learn that the Sword of Gryffindor that Snape kept in his office, is actually fake. In the end of the chapter Ron is affected by the locket, and he gets so mad that he disapparates away from them, impossible to find

The day after, Ron is still missing, but the two of them are still hoping that he will return. When they feel that they have waited long enough they have to leave. When Hermione is reading the book she got from Dumbledore, she finds an odd looking symbol, which Harry recognizes. In the end of this chapter, Harry finds his parents grave, and puts a wreath on their grave.

Chapter 13 and 14

Pg. 246-283

Once they are in the elevator, Hermoine's character is needed at a hearing, which makes their plan harder to execute. Later, they follow her down there, and find that the room is filled with dementors above them. All of a sudden, Harry stuns Umbridge who has the locket and they steal it. On the way back they meet up with Ron, and just manages to escape as they are being chased out of there.

As they reach their destination, they find themselves in the woods, and Ron is badly hurt. Hermione heals Ron with a potion she has in her super purse. They find somewhere to place the locket, before they all together try and destroy it. But nothing they do seem to do any harm.

Chapter 11 and 12

Pg. 201-245

The house of Sirius Black is still being watched by death eaters, and the gang has to wait patiently. When Harry is searching the house, he finds Remus Lupin hiding in the house. He doubts that it really is Lupind, but Lupin proves it, and Harry is convinced. Remus is updated by the three of them of the recent events and he is shocked about what happened.

When the time comes for the students to go back to Hogwarts, the house a Grimmaulds place is surrounded by death eaters, hoping that the three of them leaving for school. The three of them are planning to go into the Ministry to get the locket, which is the horcrux they are looking for. They are using polyjuice and the invisibility cloak to get there.

Chapter 9 and 10

Pg. 160-200

After the announcement of the Ministry being taken over, the Death Eaters are approaching the Burrow, where the wedding is being held. But Hermione, Ron and Harry disapparates away from here to get to safety. While planning their trip at a cafĂ©, they are ambushed by death eaters and deals with them surprisingly well. Then they go to Sirius Black's former house to look for answers.

Once they get there, they find out that the house has been searched, and they assume that it is by death eaters. Later they find out that the person that they've been looking for with the initials R.A.B is actually Sirius' brother. The house elf Kreacher turned out to know his story. Regulus, as his name was, found the horcrux, just as Dumbledore did in the last book. Regulus died as he was dragged into the water by the same creatures as Harry was saved from.

Chapter 7 and 8

Pg 111-159

In Chapter 7 the gang is surprised by the Minister of Magic. He shows up and tells them that Albus Dumbledore left them something in his will. He gives Ron the Deluminator, which can capture and store any light. Hermoine gets a copy of the book called "The Tales of Beedle and the Bard" which turns out to be a famous wizard book. Harry gets the snitch that he caught in his first game of Quidditch, and he is also supposed to get the Sword of Gryffindor, but the Minister says that he can't have it because it didn't really belong to Dumbledore

Chapter 8 is about the wedding of Bill Weasley and Fleur Delacour's wedding. In this chapter the only significant thing that happens is that they get told that the Minister of Magic is dead, and that the Ministry is now being controlled by Voldemort. This makes their mission a lot harder, because the won't have the Ministry to help them. Instead they are trying to stop them.
